Melissa Lyn is a Jamaican-born 2D Animator raised in Ontario, Canada. She has over 11 years of experience primarily in the TV animation industry, with 5+ years of Supervisor level experience.In her spare time, Melissa loves to work on short films, play videogames, and experiment in the kitchen. Her dream is to continue to collaborate with animators in Jamaica to contribute to the growth of the Animation industry in the Caribbean.In February 2025, she was a panelist at the Jamaica Creative Career Expo, presented by the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport. She has also done portfolio reviews for JANN and UWI CARIMAC, and participated in the BRIC Foundation's Meet a Mentor session for OIAF in 2023. She continues to work hard to be better able to serve her communities and create creative & compassionate work.
